General terms and conditions of

Atlantic Plastics

General Terms

These terms apply to all ticket purchases and use of MOMENT’s services through the website moment.is or other distribution channels connected to the system.

By making a purchase or using the service, the customer accepts these terms and confirms that they have reviewed them in full.

Correct Information at Purchase

Please review your ticket purchase carefully before confirming payment, including date, time, location, and ticket category.

It may not be possible to correct ticket purchases after they have been confirmed.

Transfer and Resale of Tickets

Tickets may not be resold for profit without the written consent of the event organiser or through MOMENT’s approved resale marketplace.

If a ticket is found to have been resold for profit without such authorisation, MOMENT reserves the right to invalidate the ticket.

MOMENT allows users to transfer tickets to other users to prevent fraud and counterfeit tickets.

Event Cancellation or Changes

If an event is cancelled, ticket holders shall be offered either a comparable ticket for a new date or a full refund.

If the date or time is changed, the ticket will automatically be transferred to the new schedule.

If the new date is not suitable, the purchaser is entitled to a refund within the timeframe specified in the organiser’s announcement.

Refunds

Ticket purchases are generally binding and non-refundable unless otherwise explicitly stated in the terms of the specific event.

MOMENT acts as an intermediary and ticket reseller on behalf of the event organiser. Refunds are therefore generally only issued if:

  • The event is cancelled.
  • The event organiser approves the refund.

MOMENT does not independently decide on refunds unless required by law.

Service fees, processing fees, or other administrative charges are generally non-refundable unless otherwise specified or required by law.

Responsibility of the Event Organiser

MOMENT acts solely as a sales platform and intermediary.

All events are the responsibility of the event organiser, who is responsible for the content, execution, safety, and overall delivery of the event.

MOMENT assumes no liability for any loss or costs incurred by the purchaser due to changes or cancellation of an event.

Age Restrictions

Age restrictions for events are determined in accordance with applicable laws, such as child protection laws and regulations governing licensed premises.

Event organisers may impose stricter rules, which will take precedence over general provisions.

Limited Ticket Quantities

The event organiser or MOMENT may set a maximum number of tickets that each individual may purchase.

If this limit is exceeded, MOMENT reserves the right to cancel excess tickets.

Electronic Tickets and Admission

Electronic tickets are valid proof of entry.

Each ticket is valid for one-time use only and becomes invalid after use.

The purchaser is responsible for keeping the ticket secure. Lost or used tickets are generally not reissued.

Unauthorised Use and Fraud

It is strictly prohibited to forge or alter tickets.

Tickets used for unlawful purposes will be invalidated without refund, and cases may be reported to the police.

Data Protection and Communication

MOMENT processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations.

By purchasing tickets, the customer agrees to receive information regarding the ticket, the event, and related services.

If the customer wishes to withdraw such consent, they may contact moment@moment.is.

Personal Belongings

MOMENT and event organisers are not responsible for customers’ personal belongings before, during, or after the event.

Technical Services and Payments

MOMENT uses secure payment gateways in accordance with international standards.

Customers must ensure that their payment information is accurate and valid.

If a payment fails or is reversed, MOMENT may revoke access to the purchased tickets.

Changes to Terms

MOMENT reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time.

New terms take effect upon publication at the moment.is and applies to all purchases made thereafter.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Icelandic law.

Any disputes shall be brought before the District Court of Reykjavík.
